Steak & Ale is the last of the old quality steakhouse standbys, only surpassed by Morton's (pricewise too of course). Very good steaks - if you don't think it's exactly what you want, they'll cheerfully cook up another one....

There were no dressings with the salad bar. The tables were uncleaned and very filthy and sticky. The waitress didnt even give us the bread she didnt give us the soup thawt we ordered and we had to go to the kitchen area...

The prime rib was overcooked and tough, perhaps the meat sat under the heating lamps too long. The baked potato was old and unappealing. Dessert was not offered, and the wait to receive the dessert was unreasonably long....
