As it turned out we were delighted that we had to camp at Pioneer. Their RV park was worth the extra driving. We give it 4 -stars abd the only reason it doesn't get 5 -stars from us is that they have no jacuzzi/pool....

At the State park there is a paved walking/bike riding path that circles around a large pond stocked with fish and there is a boat dock for boaters. We also enjoyed feeding the ducks at the park. All these things...
